ABOUT ME

Welcome! I'm Brenda Ximena Roldan Romero, a 3D animator with 3 years of industry experience. My portfolio includes projects for clients like Disney, Marvel, Apple TV, Sky... and many more! Working across VFX and Feature Animation in various styles and characters.

I studied my Bachelor's degree in BA (Hons) Compute Visualisation and Animation, (2019 - First Class Honours) from Bournemouth University, and a Masters degree MA 3D Animation (2020 - distinction) at the same institutiuon.

I believe that as filmmakers we have the tools to tell fantastic and entertaining stories, but also to teach something while we do, it creating awareness in our audience. I believe it is a small contribution and duty as an artist towards our society and our planet.

Gaia - 2020 - Masters Group Project

Main Roles: Director, 3D Animator,Compositing /// 'Gaia' is the story of an Australian Koala. In a traditional wooden theatre set, we follow our puppet koala (Gaia) to discover how innocent and playful she is when she comes down from her tree to investigate some strange lights and sounds from the forest. Soon she realises is a dangerous fire, and when she tries to escape she realizes there is no way out. Gaia stands for 'Mother Earth'. This piece is a social tribute for those animals lost in the Australian bush fires during this season. We want to thank our fire and volunteer service for conserving a vital part of our planet. There is no Planet B, and it is everyone's responsibility to take care of it.
